On the 24th of May 2008, the public joined us for an intimate concert of contemplative and meditative music,

 breaking away from the outside world and delving into the realm of serenity.

After much turmoil, the concert took place under circumstances best described as delicate. Charbel Rouhana and The Beirut Oriental Ensemble succeeded in disconnecting from all external realities. They played entrancingly, captivating the audience for nearly one and a half hours of soaring emotions.

The public was under the spell of the music and as Charbel aptly put it: “We thought we were alone in the concert hall, we realized the public was present only when the applause broke out after each musical piece”.
