Wehde

Tania Saleh

The word "Wehde" in Arabic means three different things: "a girl", "solitude" and "national unity" at the same time. It is a perfect translation of Tania Saleh's state of mind in a country tormented by sectarian, political and social divisions. The album is an independent alternative Arabic musical experiment produced between the years 2004 and 2010, released in 2011.
