The Foundation for Arab Music Archiving and Research (AMAR) latest release, "The Voice of the Nahda Era", Yusuf Al-Manyalawi's works between 1847 and 1911 is 10-CD boxset marking the 100th anniversary of the death of Egyptian legend Yusuf Al Manyalawi. The boxset encompasses 10 CDs containing the pieces that Manyalawi recorded with his voice from 1905 until 1910 for two recording companies on 78RPM discs. The recordings have been remastered from their original Gramophone versions providing an optimal audio quality without compromising the authenticity of the century old recordings. The collection includes an Arabic book, and booklets in French and English. The booklets have been written by Frederic Lagrange, Muhsin Suwa and Mustafa Said.
